Ružomberok – Malinô Brdo ski centre is located in Lower Liptov, on the foothill of the Veľká Fatra mountain range. It is a sought-after place of relax not only for the inland visitors but also for foreign tourists. Municipal part Hrabovo, distanced only 1 km from the town centre, is the entrance gate of the ski centre. A modern 1770 metres long, 8-seat gondola lift will transport you from Hrabovo to Malinô Brdo. The hourly capacity is 1500 persons. There are 4-seat chair lift, 2 ski lifts and 4 ski lifts for the beginners and kids located in the ski resort centre. All the visitors can enjoy interesting events and competitions for the entire family during the weekends and holidays. The ski centre offers 12 km of ski slopes, the longest one measures 3900 metres, its elevation is 698 metres and it is one of the longest artificially snowed ski slopes in Slovakia. Malinô Brdo surrounding offers excellent possibilities for the cross-country skiing, hiking and ski alpinism.
